General info
The booking is valid for 48 hours. For go&return bookings, the return voucher is valid for 60 days after the issue date.
The Decree 488 dated 21/10/2013 bans the transit of vehicles heavier than 3,5 ton through Messina municipality.
Tremestieri ticket office does not issue go&return ticktes (only one-way).

Cabin and meals
The drivers are not entitled to a cabin. Meals are not included. The third driver is included in the booking if he travels on the vehicle and has an appropriate driving license.

Dangerous goods and livestock
Dangerous goods and livestock shipment must be approved by Bluferries and by the Port Authorities. The request has to be submitted at least 2 working days before the departure.
The ferry company can refuse the shipment of dangerous goods and livestock during high season or on overcrowded departures.
For the dangerous goods it is mandatory to fill in a specific document at least 2 working days before the departure. The document is available upon request (please ask our booking office).
For the shipment of dangerous goods, as required by the law, it is mandatory to have the lashing points.

Refrigerated vehicles
Under no circumstances Bluferries will accept vehicles keeping the engine on during the shipment. The vehicles will have to use the electrical plug-ins available on board to keep the refrigerator working.

Out of gauge vehicles
The shipment of out of gauge vehicles has to be approved by Bluferries and by the Port Authorities. It is mandatory to provide the ferry company with the out of gauge documents at least 2 working days before the departure. The shipment of out of gauge vehicles depends also on the weather conditions.

Changes and cancellations
There are no extra fees for no-show, cancellation or change.
The return voucher (issued at the same time of the go ticket, included in the go&return offer) is not refundable.

Meals are not included, but drivers are entitled to discounts at the self-service (alcoholic drinks not included).

Dangerous goods must be declared when booking. The customer has to send all the documents of the dangerous goods with the booking request. The shipment will be allowed only after Brittany Ferries authorization. For this kind of cargo it is mandatory to arrive at the check-in at least 4 hours before departure. The ferry company can charge an extra fee for not declaring the dangerous goods when booking. Class VII is not allowed on Brittany Ferries vessels.
Livestock can be shipped upon final authorization of the ferry company. For this kind of cargo it is mandatory to arrive at the check-in at least 4 hours before departure. Pets are not allowed on Brittany Ferries vessels.

Refrigerated vehicles
The refrigerated vehicle are accepted only if they use the plug-in. The plug-in has to be requested when booking.

Out of gauge vehicles
For exceptional vehicles, it is mandatory to provide the ferry company with the out of gauge documents at least 2 working days before departure. The ferry company reserves the right to refuse the shipment of out of gauge vehicles. The maximum size accepted by Brittany Ferries is: width 2,60 mt, length 19 mt, height mt 4,20, weight 50 ton.

Changes and cancellations
The ferry company reserves the right to charge extra fee for late cancellation and no-show (up to Euro 132 + iva). The deadline for the cancellation is 12 hours before the departure (Friday for the week-end bookings or the previous working day for bank or National holydays).
Bookings have to be cancelled/modified during office hours.

In case of cancellation and/or amendment, a fee will be charged as follows:
- cancellation requested after 12:00 of the day before the departure: charge of 50% of the ticket rate
- amendment free of charge until 24 hours before the planned booking departure
- amendment requested on the same day of the departure: charge of 30% of the ticket rate
- No-show fee: 100% of the ticket rate

As from 01.02.2021 DFDS will charge Euro 2,00 per unit to cover the costs related to Brexit procedures (customs check, data enter, etc.)
The manual management of the bookings and of the customs procedures will be charged as follows:

Drivers will travel in a specific wagon. Meals are not included.
The booking includes up to 5 drivers traveling on the same vehicle. For safety reasons, all drivers must announce themselves at check-in.
Children under 12 years of age will not be accepted.

Dangerous goods and livestock
Some dangerous goods are accepted. It is mandatory to check if the dangerous goods are accepted before getting to the check-in. The dangerous goods have to be declared when booking. All the documents regarding the dangerous goods have to be showed at the check-in. The documents have to be readable and state all the following information: name of the product, net weight, gross weight, UN number, DGN details (class, packing group…), net weight of every single container.
Livestock cannot travel on Eurotunnel.

Out of gauge vehicles
The maximum dimensions accepted are: width 19,40 mt, weight 2,60 mt, height 4,20 mt, weight 44 ton. The vehicles exceeding these dimensions will not be accepted.

Peak Days
An extra charge will be applied on extremely busy days (Peak Days). Peak days calendar is available at www.eurotunnelfreight.com or upon request to our office.
Eurotunnel reserves the right to amend the Peak Days calendar and to close the access to the Terminal on very crowded days, aiming at protecting the integrity and efficiency of the service. This ban (Capacity Protection) can be put in place without any prior notice.

Changes and cancellations
The bookings are valid the day displayed on the confirmation, the day before and the day after.
Cancellations or amendments are free of charge.

The booking is valid until 2 hours before departure. After this time limit the company reserves the right to accept other vehicles already on the dock, even if they are on the waiting list. The ferry company reserves the right to change the time of departure without any prior notice.
We would like to inform you that, for the routes to and from Spain, the Customs port offices require a self-declaration regarding the origin of the goods and more precisely a EU origin declaration. Please, keep at hand the importer invoice and the related goods documents (CMR), for possible further checks. At the check-in the driver has to show the documents regarding the goods (CMR), the vehicle’s logbook and his identity card or passport. The transport company will be held responsible for any penalty and/or delay and/or departure cancellation due to the lack of any of the above mentioned documents.
For the departures from Barcelona, an area of the port has been reserved for all the commercial vehicles. This area will be available for all the accompanied vehicles booked with Grimaldi, from 16:00 until the time of the vessel departure to Civitavecchia. This will offer a totally safe area where the drivers will find a dedicated check-in desk, with no need to get to Grimaldi main ticket office.
Car transporters can ship only upon Grimaldi’s prior approval.

Cabin and meals
The driver is entitled to a four-berth shared cabin. In some occasions and upon unquestionable Grimaldi’s decision the driver may be entitled to a different accommodation (airplane type seat, deck accommodation…). Under no circumstances the driver will be allowed to stay inside his vehicle. No refund will be offered if the cabin is not available.
Meals are not included.
In case of inappropriate or harmful behavior, the ferry company reserves the right to ban the driver from the ship and refuse his boarding on future departures, until further notice.

Dangerous goods and livestock
Dangerous goods and livestock shipment must be approved by Grimaldi and by the Port Authorities. The request has to be submitted at least 2 working days before the departure.
The ferry company can refuse the shipment of dangerous goods and livestock during high season or on overcrowded departures.
The shipment of livestock will be totally forbidden on the route Civitavecchia-Barcelona-Civitavecchia (stopover in Porto Torres included) during the summer or crowded departures
For this kind of cargo it is mandatory to arrive at the check-in at least 4 hours before departure.

Refrigerated vehicles
Grimaldi does not accept self-running refrigerated vehicles. Under no circumstances Grimaldi will accept vehicles keeping the engine on during the shipment. The vehicles will have to use the electrical plug-ins available on board to keep the refrigerator working.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR BOOKINGS WITH REFRIGERATOR CONNECTION
If the refrigerator connection is not used, please inform our offices the morning after boarding. Otherwise, the surcharge will be invoiced and no further claims will be accepted.

Out of gauge vehicles
The shipment of out of gauge vehicles has to be approved by Grimaldi and by the Port Authorities. It is mandatory to provide the ferry company with the out of gauge documents at least 2 working days before departure.  The shipment of out of gauge vehicles depends also on the weather conditions.

Changes and cancellations
The ferry company may charge a cancellation fee for all bookings cancelled after 11:00 on the day of departure.
A booking changed after 16:00 on the day of the departure could be moved from the “confirmed” vehicles list to the “waiting list”.
Grimaldi reserves the right to charge a no-show fee.
Bookings have to be cancelled or changed during office hours.











Easytrip SPA is released from any responsibility, in the following matters:
- incomplete, inaccurate and/or incorrect details given at the time of HVG payment.
- violation to the law regulating the validity of the levy: starting date, ending date.
Easytrip SPA is not required to check the expiry date of the levy, therefore the customer undertakes to inform Easytrip SPA about any possible extension of validity.
HGV Levy is not refundable and amendable.

Liability:
Any claim of whatsoever nature in respect of the Goods must be made in writing to the Company within 14 days from the day on which the Goods are delivered or would in the ordinary course have been delivered; otherwise all rights of action against the Company shall be absolutely barred.
Any claim against or liability of the Company shall be limited to € 127 per package or unit, or its equivalent in other currency calculated at the time the Goods are delivered or would in the ordinary course have been delivered

Out of gauge vehicles

The surcharge is Euro 6,00 per crossing

Changes and cancellations
P&O charges a Euro 68,00 “No Show” fee on the routes Rotterdam (Europoort) – Hull and Hull – Rotterdam (Europoort). The “No Show” fee applies to vehicles not arriving at check-in and to bookings not cancelled within the check-in time limit.
For the route Zeebrugge-Tilbury & vv, 100% cancellation after midday for the same day bookings and after 14:00 hours for the following morning bookings. Week-end departures must be cancelled before 12:00 on the proceeding Friday prior to booking All no show will be charged at 100% of the freight rate.
Bookings have to be cancelled during office hours.



General info

For all booking requests the Transport General Terms and Conditions of Rail Cargo Operator – Austria Gmbh/ROLA will apply.
The booking is valid for the check-in made no earlier than 90 minutes before the train departure. After this time limit the company reserves the right to accept other vehicles already on the platform even if on the waiting list.
Unaccompanied vehicles will not be accepted.
The vehicle may be accepted on a train different from the one booked and confirmed, upon availability or driver’s request. We will invoice the rate of the train that the vehicle will take.
For following holidays a fee of € 45 applies: 18.05.2023 / 08.06.2023 / 15.08.2023 / 26.10.2023 / 08.12.2023
Bookings and amendments have to be sent before 17:45 (Monday-Friday), because Rola office closes after that deadline.

Cabin and meals
If not differently stated, the booking is valid for one driver. The second driver (with a heavy goods vehicles driving license) has to be declared when booking. No other people or pets will be accepted on board. Meals are not included.

Dangerous goods and livestock
A fee of Euro 30,00 + IVA will be charged for dangerous goods.  Dangerous goods are accepted under specific conditions. Class 7 (radioactive goods) is not accepted.
The customers have to declare the dangerous goods when booking and provide the booking office with all the requested documents. The booking will be confirmed after Okombi approval.
Livestock cannot travel on Okombi trains.

Out of gauge vehicles
The booking will be accepted only for vehicles with the following dimensions set by the train company:
-    Maximum length 18.80 mt
-    Maximum width 2.60 mt
-    Maximum height 4.00 mt
-    Maximum weight 40ton (with a special permission: 44ton)
The car-transporters are accepted (extra charge of Euro 30,00), but have to be declared when booking and need an extra approval by Okombi.
Only the vehicles within the maximum allowed dimensions will be accepted. Okombi reserves the right to refuse a vehicle not respecting the given dimensions (even if accepted and loaded on previous occasions).

Changes and cancellations
An extra fee will be charged for no-show and late cancellation.
No-Show fee € 50,00 + IVA per vehicle
Late cancellation fee € 25,00 + IVA per vehicle
Bookings have to be cancelled within the following time limit:
For departures during the week-end and on Monday until 14:00, cancellation on Friday before 12.00,
For departures on non-working day, cancellation the day before within 12:00
An extra fee will be charged for booking amendments. The first amendment is free of charge and any further change or specific adjustment will be charged Euro 25,00 + IVA. An extra fee of Euro 25,00 + IVA will be charged for the cancellation of a booking that has been already amended.



General Info
The booking will be accepted only for vehicles with the following dimensions set by the train company:
-    Maximum length 18.60 mt, in particular circumstances 19.00 mt.
-    Maximum weight 42 or 44 ton in particular circumstances (total weight of the vehicle+the cargo). For the vehicles heavier than 42 ton (up to a maximum weight of 44 ton) a special coach is required. Please, be aware that this coach is not available on all trains.
-    The ground clearance cannot be lower than 15 cm (both when moving and when staying still)

The booking is valid for the check-in made no earlier than 90 minutes before the train departure. After this time limit the company reserves the right to accept other vehicles already on the platform even if on the waiting list. The driver has to show the following documents at the check-in: transport document (CMR etc), other documents regarding some specific kinds of cargo (i.e. dangerous goods, waste). For the transport of dangerous goods, the documents have to state the total mass of every single dangerous chemical in compliance with ADR 5.4.1.1.1 f. The driver has also to show the booking confirmation and the identity card or passport.
The vehicle may be accepted on a train different from the one booked and confirmed, upon availability or driver’s request. We will invoice the rate of the train that the vehicle will take.
Vehicles with a test plate will not be accepted.
Unaccompanied vehicles will not be accepted.

The drivers must comply with the safety and behavior regulations available at the Terminal or on www.ralpin.com

Cabin and meals
If not differently stated, the booking is valid for one driver. The second driver (with a heavy goods vehicles driving license) has to be declared when booking. No other people or pets will be accepted on board. Meals are not included.

Dangerous goods and livestock
RAlpin allows the transport of vehicles carrying dangerous goods in compliance with the European agreement for the International Transport of dangerous goods by both road and rail (ADR/RID). The dangerous goods  as per RID, paragraph 1.1.4.4 (transport by road and rail) and some other dangerous chemicals are not accepted by RAlpin. The customers must declare the dangerous goods and send all the needed documents when booking.
Livestock cannot travel on RAlpin trains.

Out of gauge vehicles
Only the vehicles within the maximum allowed dimensions will be accepted. RAlpin reserves the right to refuse a vehicle not respecting the given dimensions (even if accepted and loaded on previous occasions).

Changes and cancellations

***NEW AMENDMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY FROM 10/12/2023***
Confirmed reservation can be changed before closing time. First change of reservation is free of charge. Each further change of reservation will be of € 25,00.
Confirmed reservations may be cancelled up to 6 hours before closing time free of charge. From 6 hours to one hour prior to closing time € 25,00. Less than one hour prior to closing time € 50,00. No-show € 100,00.

A confirmed booking cannot be moved to another train on a waiting list place (the confirmed booking has to be cancelled - cancellation fee applies - and a new booking has to be done)

The collection of Customs documents for special occasions under conditions:
at 09.00 hours same day of vessel's sailing from the Port of Loading Cargo can be accepted for loading onboard the vessel the same day of loading and the latest by 16.00 hours, otherwise the receipt of the cargo is depending on Captain's decision or imposed to extra expenses.
Payment Terms: All charges arising from the shipment must be settled in CASH or by Remittance against release of B/L or Delivery Order

Carriage according to North sea standard conditions of carriage (last edition) dated 2011. Please verify the coverage of sea transport by your transport insurance.
Scandlines reserves the right to ship the vehicles on the top open deck, without any prior notice or  any other declaration on the bill of loading.
On the routes Puttgarden-Rodbyhavn & vv. and Helingor-Helsingborg & vv. it is not possible to book a specific departure time (only “open bookings are available), except for vehicles carrying dangerous goods.

Scandlines will consider as out of gauge all vehicles exceeding the following: length mt 19, width mt 2,60, weight 48 ton.

The ferry company reserves the right to charge extra fee for late cancellation and no-show.

Terms of transport

All vehicle as well as the cargo it-self, have to be fitted with sufficient lashing points for load securing on deck of the seagoing vessel. Inadequately secured cargo or insufficient amounts/quality of lashing points may result in denial of transportation on board of the seagoing vessel. Final judgment to this is subject to master’s or shipping companies authorized representative’s decision.
All timetables and surcharges (bunker surcharge, THC etc.) are subject to change without further notice.
All given timetables are non-binding and are informative only. Times of departure may be changed by the shipping company at any time without any given reasons. At the time of shipment the original timetable of the shipping company shall apply.

BREXIT info
All the customs procedures are under the customer’s responsibility and have to be done directly by the customer.
Once arrived in Holland, hauliers will have a time frame from when the goods arrive on the terminal (scheduled arrival time of the vessel) to finalize the Customs formalities (the time frame is from 7 up to 12 hours, depending on the route, please ask the booking office for more details). If the Customs formalities are not finalized within this time frame and the units are still on hold by the Dutch Customs, accompanied units will be shipped back to the UK to release space on the terminal.   If the driver would refuse to return aboard, the driver must leave the terminal and the unaccompanied vehicle will be shipped back to UK.  Please be aware that in a situation when the driver refuse to be shipped back to the UK and the unit is parked on the quay during the night, the terminal reserves the right to charge a release fee of € 250,00 + vat.
If Stena Line will have to make any amendments or adjustment to the customs details, the following fees will be charged:

There are no extra fees for no-show, cancellation or change.



All unused and late cancellations will be subject to a NO-SHOW fee of € 35,00.
Any cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the departure of the ferry during office hours.
Changes to the reservation can be made no later than 7 hours before the departure of the ferry and they should be made between 07.30a am and 05.00 pm.


First driver is entitled to a free berth in a cabin
Co-drivers are offered deck accommodation in a special price and upgrade to a berth in a cabin depending on availability
First driver is entitled to one free meal and 25% discount for extra meal
Co-drivers are entitled to 25% discount in self service restaurant (drinks are not included)
